In the mid-country hills of Ginigathenna, a small family grower tends to a few acres of tea bushes. For most of the year, these bushes are plucked for their tender leaves  but for a brief moment each season, they come into bloom.

Our Camellia Sinensis Flowers are hand-harvested during this short flowering period. Each pale ivory blossom is gently dried to capture its delicate fragrance and natural sweetness. When infused, the liquor releases soft floral notes with hints of wild honey, meadow herbs, and fresh hay  a quiet reflection of the tea plant’s full life cycle.

Containing only a trace of caffeine, this is a rare and soothing infusion that celebrates the purity and elegance of the Ceylon tea bush itself.

WHY HAND PLUCK?

Carefully selecting the right tender bud and two leaves, is the first stage of making a quality cup of tea. There is a saying in the industry

“You can make good tea with good leaf, you can make bad tea with good leaf, but you will never make good tea with bad leaf”
